The Thief of Always is a novel that was published in 1992. It is a fable written for children, but it has

Oprisko and illustrated by Gabriel Hernandez ... it tells the story of a young boy named Harvey Swick,
who is bored out of his mind in the dreary grey month of February and is swept away to the magical

Tapping the Vein is a comic series published by Eclipse Books in the late 1980's through early 1990's
that published a number of Clive Barker short stories from the 6 volumes of The Books of Blood
. There was a total of 5 issues published between 1989 and 1992

Kao prvo, Profesore: hvala za Swamp Thing!
Pod dva: Rapidshare nije muka ako imaš nalog i kablovski (i/ili) wireless internet;)
Mracna strana je da su cak i pretplatnici limitirani na 4GB dnevno, ali - sa tim se da živeti.
Kad skinem Swampyja, javim ti mailom - za uzvrat ocekujem adresu i eto diskova sa stripovima (za Boyana to ne važi, nadam se da mu ih predam uz pivo, pre koncerta:))

pod 1: Nema na chemu. Uvek mi je drago obradovati nekoga (a swampija i sam obozavam)
pod 2:nazalost nemam nalog, a posto sam na kablovskoj ne pomaze mi iklucivanje racunara jer mi je nekako fiksna IP adresa, tako da se nevidjeno patim s istim (narocito kada usitne ovako po epizodama)
sto nas dovodi do
pod 3: HVALA! to bi me jako obradovalo:) i skratilo muke, tako da se mogu psvetiti skidanju drugih fajlova. ne znam koji je mejl ovde postavljen, ali zeljno iscekujem tvoj mejl na o5strip4@gmail.com

William Erwin Eisner (March 6, 1917 – January 3, 2005) was an acclaimed American comics writer, artist and entrepreneur. He is considered one of the most important contributors to the development of the medium and is known for the cartooning studio he founded; for his highly influential series The Spirit; for his use of comics as an instructional medium; for his leading role in establishing the graphic novel as a form of literature with his book A Contract with God and Other Tenement Stories; and for his educational work about the medium as exemplified by his book Comics and Sequential Art.
In 1988, the comics community paid tribute to Eisner by creating the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, more commonly known as "the Eisners", to recognize achievements each year in the comics medium. Eisner enthusiastically participated in the awards ceremony, congratulating each recipient.
Some of his last work was the retelling in sequential art of novels and myths, including Moby Dick. In 2002, at the age of 85, he published Sundiata, based on the part-historical, part-mythical stories of a West African king, "The Lion of Mali". Fagin the Jew is an account to the life of Dickens's character Fagin, in which Eisner tries to get past the stereotyped portrait of Fagin in Oliver Twist. His last graphic novel, The Plot, an account of the making of the anti-semitic hoax The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, was completed shortly before his death and published in 2005.
Will Eisner died of complications from a quadruple bypass surgery performed on December 22, 2004 in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida.

Eisner has been recognized for his work with the National Cartoonist Society Comic Book Award for 1967, 1968, 1969, 1987, and 1988, as well as its Story Comic Book Award in 1979, and its highest accolade, the Reuben Award, for 1988.
He was inducted into the Academy of Comic Book Arts Hall of Fame in 1971, and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1987. The following year, the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards were established in his honor.He received in 1975 the second Grand Prix de la ville d'Angoul#234;me, the most important European comics award. The only other American author to receive this award was Robert Crumb in 1999.
In May 2002 Wizard magazine named Eisner "the most influential comic artist of all time."
In 2002 Eisner received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Federation for Jewish Culture at the Plaza Hotel ballroom in New York City ---only the second such honor in the organization's history--- presented by
Pulitzer-prize winning cartoonist Art Spiegelman.
With Jack Kirby, Robert Crumb, Harvey Kurtzman, Gary Panter and Chris Ware, Eisner was among the artists honored in the exhibition "Masters of American Comics" at the Jewish Museum in New York City, New York, from Sept. 16, 2006 to Jan. 28, 2007.

While A Contract with God is not the first graphic novel, and nor is it the first to use the term, it is recognized by comic book industry and by literary critics as the standard bearer. It created in its wake a deeper understanding of the medium's worth and wide storytelling potential. It also served as an inspiration to younger creators, who in turn further developed the format. This has led to the acceptance of the graphic novel as a viable literary and commercial format for artistic expression. Eisner's initial attempt at a contained work of sequential art, while not inventing the form — and possibly by dint of being the right book at the right time, with another groundbreaking work, Sabre coincidentally published the same month — helped to popularize it and bring critical attention to a ghettoized medium.
Eisner saw the book as important in moving the comics form forward. "In hindsight," he wrote in the first edition's introduction, "I realize I was really only working around one core concept — that the medium, the arrangement of words and pictures in sequence, was an art form in itself. Unique, with a structure and gestalt of its own, this medium could deal with meaningful themes."
In the introduction to the 2001 reissue of A Contract with God, Eisner revealed that the inspiration for the title story grew out of the 1969 death of his leukemia-stricken teenaged daughter, Alice, next to whom he is buried. Until then, only Eisner's closest friends had even been aware that he and his wife, Ann Weingarten Eisner, had a daughter.

The Spirit (real name Denny Colt) is a fictional American masked crime-fighter, created by Will Eisner in 1940, who starred in a Sunday-newspaper comic-book insert. His namesake, seven-page weekly series is considered one of the comic-art medium's most significant and classic works, with writer-artist Eisner creating or popularizing many of the styles, techniques, and storytelling conventions used by comics professionals decades later. The stories ranged through a wide variety of styles, from straightforward crime drama and film noir to lighthearted adventure, from mystery and horror to comedy and love stories, often with hybrid elements that twisted genre and expectations.
Warren Publishing and Denis Kitchen's Kitchen Sink Press published extensive reprints, first as large black-and-white magazines (the Warren part of the run eventually having a color section), then as trade paperbacks. Kitchen Sink later did a complete reprinting of the post-WWII Eisner work in a color comic series, and started another series, which lasted only 10 issues, then intended to reprint the stories from the beginning.
Only issues 1-5 (of 87) of Kitchen Sink's reprints are being posted.

New York: The Big City / City People Notebook - DC - 1981/1989 - 59mb/50mb
Will Eisner, responsible for two separate revolutions in comic art, set his sights on his hometown in New York: The Big City. These short (one to four pages) reflections and observations are grouped thematically by components of Eisner's city: Subways, Stoops, Windows, Walls, and more. As usual, he finds universal truths buried underneath urban waste and banal street conversations. Of particular note is his reverence for the joys of living directly, an almost Zen approach to sensory overload. His humor is at turns grinningly juvenile and starkly black. If he starts the book cataloguing things dropped down a sewer grate, he ends with dispossessed poor folks leaving a newly gentrified area muttering, "There goes the neighborhood."
City People Notebook is a collection of short pieces--call them graphic poems--grouped thematically under the headings Time, Space, and Smell. He captures the essences of these qualities as experienced by urban folk (even smell, a tough literary nut, cracks easily for him). His graphic poems are strongly reminiscent of the free-form pieces from the old Mad magazine, with a greater depth and maturity. Sometimes goofy, sometimes haunting, and usually insightful, Eisner's City People Notebook is a wise guide to the weird world of the urbanite.

skini pa procitaj, ima negde postavljena skenirana verzija. to ti je zavrsena prica od nekih 7 epizoda, kreirali su je luna brothers. radi se o necemu stvarno neuobicajenom, jedan novi pogled na svet superheroja gde su oni vishe nego ikada poput normalnihi ljudi, traze ljubav, zele da vole i da budu voljeni. svet gde su superheroji javne licnosti, popularne face u rangu holiwoodskih glumaca i pevaca. e sada, luna brothers su se skoncentrisali na 3 zenska lika, superheroja i njihov svakodnevni zivot, jednoj od njih je vracara prorekla da ce u sledecih 7 dana pronaci ljubav svoga zivota...i tako, prica pocinje...necu ti vishe nishta otkrivati. downloaduj pa vidi ako ti se svidi..ja josh nisam procitao, vishe volim u papiru, ali ako je na nivou "girls" onda je vredno novca.

"Little Annie Fanny, the buxom blonde who appeared for 26 years in the pages of Playboy magazine, returns in the first of a two-volume reprint. Created by Mad magazine cofounder Harvey Kurtzman and legendary cartoonist Will Elder, Fanny's comic exploits (in various states of undress and nearly always topless) are set during the swinging '60s. SnipeIt, dobro si došao, kažeš sve tvoji uploadovi, svaka cast, pravo cudo kako nisi još od ranije bio ovde!
Što se kodiranja linkova tice, nisam siguran da se na ovom forumu može to uraditi, najbolje je raspitati se sa administracijom foruma ali ne znam cemu bi to poslužilo, poene dobijaš i na ovaj nacin. |

Stvar je u tome sto se na pretrazivanju sve vidi ovako. Na sva 4 foruma na kojima postujem svoje linkove koriste kodiranje, tako da se sadrzaj sakrije od pretrazivaca.Poenta toga je sto u poslednje vreme postoji par nekih skotova koji prijavljuju linkove, pa se desava da uploader preko noci ostane bez desetine giga linkova, sto bas i nije prijatno, slozices se, jer u sekundu ti ode visemesecni rad.Pre neki dan je onom momku sto drzi onaj blog Blue Apple prijavljeno i izbrisano skoro sve sto je uplodovao od Betmena.(Cenim po sadrzaju da se radi o 5-6gb)On postuje inace takodje na nekoliko foruma, ali na tim istim forumima imam i ja postovane Betmene, tako da je pretpostavka da je razlog sto su linkovi bili dostupni svakome i "ogoljeni" na njegovom blogu.(jer moji nisu obrisani)
O ovome je nadugacko i nasiroko raspravljano na forumima na kojima sam, nakon cega su uveli tu meru, da ne ispadne da se ja ovde pravim nesto pametan. Ja nisam bas neki veliki uploader, imam samo 90-ak GB ali to je visemesecni trud, i ne bih voleo da to propadne. Primera radi, trenutno re-uploadujem THor-a kompletnog sa jos jednim drugarom
i to traje danima vec.Ja imam 768 adsl, ali zbog torrenta koji mi gusi ostale programe, brzina uploada mi varira izmedju 7 i 10k , a normalno bi trebala biti 20. (Ne mogu da gresim dusu, ne mora da bude do torrenta ili provajdera, moguce je da i rapidshare zeza.)
Sto se tice toga sto ranije nisam ... hmm, kad sam krenuo letos da skupljam skenirane stripove, nisam na pretrazivacu pronasao ovo mesto, da li tada niste postojali ili sam ja omasio ? U svakom slucaju dok nisam pre neki dan na jednom od foruma naleteo na link za ovaj forum, nisam ni znao da ovo postoji. Probao sam prosle godine jedno vreme na nekim nasim manga sajtovima , ali to nije bilo to. Ovo je vidim ono pravo.
E sad da ne bi ispalo samo da trucam za dzabe, evo par najava : kao sto rekoh re-uploadujem Thor-a komplet, takodje bice Mignolin rad skoro sve sto moze da se nadje skenirano(cim zavrsim skeniranje The Art Of Hellboy graficke Novele, posto crkoh oko tog sranja od 200 strana :( a i ovaj Mustek A3 mi dupe pomera, jel ima jos neko problema sa softverom u vezi tog @#$@#$ skenera ?
Takodje skeniram uporedo nekih 200 strana Hogara iz politikinog zabavnika, sto cu zbog velicine uraditi u 4 cbr-a.(4 X 20mb rezolucija je 1280 width, svi moji skenovi su u toj rezoluciji )
HMm sta jos? E da , imam neku obavezu da za drugara nekog skeniram neke novije stripoteke, nakog cega dobijam od njega na pozajmicu Maxmagnusa komplet, pa ce i to biti skenirano(nadam se da nije vec, jos nisam stigao da proverim sta je sve skenirano od nasih stripova ?)Takodje sam od njega dobio 3 kutije stripova(Biser, Gigant, yu-strip, starije stripoteke, tarzane, marvele, itd)
Trebace mi malo vremena dok sve ne procitam na ovom forumu i ne vidim sta je skenirano , a sta ne. Ali imam nameru da se malo vise posvetim nasim stripovima, posto sam za strane dosao do tacke kad imam skoro sve sto me interesovalo.
Uf bio sam malo opsirniji

Hmm ipak ima code, to vam je ovaj treci s desna format.
Sto se tice mojih uploadova ... hocete li da vam uploadujem na rapid ceo spisak linkova sta sam do sada uplodovao, pa da od sada postujem ili da postujem redom ovde, pa ako bude nesto duplo ..biga ? Nesto i ne vidim ovde na forumu mnogo mojih stvari, ali stvarno nemam vremena sve da pregledam.
